Rouge et Bleu: Ou se Glas a Dife

Nap kranpe pou Rouge et Bleu
Nap yele pou Rouge et Bleu
Nap kriye pou Rouge et Bleu
Nap priye pou Rouge et Bleu

Nap panse Rouge et Bleu
Nap blese Rouge et Bleu
Nap veye Rouge et Bleu
Paske NOU, se Rouge et Bleu

Na Rouge... nou pirifye
Na Bleu... nou prezève
Nou se Glas a Dife
Nou, se Rouge et Bleu
Nou kranpe, nou chante
Nou kriye, nou yele
Nou tout, se pitit Bon Dieu
Nou, se Rouge et Bleu

Ayiti, ou, se Rouge et Bleu
Se koulè moun ki liberé
Ayisian, se pou nou sonje (remember)
Ke nou, se Rouge et Bleu

Le force, pou Inspirer
Le force, pou Ininfye
Le force, pou Sipòte
Se nan san nou, li toujou ye

Volunte pou edike
Kouraj pou kontribye
Lespwa et verite
Se nan san nou, li toujou ye

Ayisian, se pou nou sonje (remember)
Nou Glas a Dife
Liberé pou éternité
E nou ka fé, nenpòt san vle

Nou met vole nenpòt kote
Nap toujou egziste
Ayisian, pa janm bliye
Nou, se Rouge et Bleu... Nou, se Rouge et Bleu... Nou, se Rouge et Bleu.

  • Haitian history is for every african whether they be dead living or breathing today the 1st independent black nation that wasn't gonna take no shit from the evil men that brought us here may power & wisdom be with all black men in the struggle today

  • @lineswine yeah i could definitely tell you are not Haitian.if you where you would know that less then 700,000 people had gotten assistance by foreign NGO's prior to the earthquake.the Dominican republic is not a paradise poverty does exist in that country, and people still do emigrate from there

i do know you troll, just thought i could show how people misconception are not grounded in facts.cause many people do actually think like you.although not a majority of them

  • @cocoaj13

Ya couldn't be any a septrillion % righter than dat!!!

  • All you Haitians, don't let Toussaint L'overture words come's to be in vain and died with him. Its time for those roots to spring back up.

  • @lineswine and in the early 1900's the US occupied haiti, and when they left, took our gold reserves with them smuggled in coffins, then of course u hav your corrupt dictators, bakd by the US of course, who again took haiti's wealth umm oh all the 'aid' money which we have to pay back with interest, the 1000 +ngo's using donations on themselves, oh and coincedentally the US have discovered a very large deposit of oil, amongst other resources.. so the only thing we beg is, that all vultures leave

  • @lineswine one thing haitians dont do..is beg....and you want to know why haiti is the so called "poorest" country in the western hemisphere?! Beacause in the days of slavery..haiti was the 'richest' colony in the americas..howcome france became so rich..and why europe and america's economy skyrocketed on free labour...the haitians beat napoleons army..and because of this france charged haiti $40 billion up until the 40's, for 'losses' ?!!

  • Haiti "Already the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere with 80% of the population living under the poverty line and 54% in abject poverty" Not my words, but a proven fact.

"Less than 700,000" i.e. pretty much the entire population of Port-au-Prince...methinks Haiti is full of ungrateful people, who should stop begging & start rebuilding. Port-au-Prince was hit by the earthquake, not the whole country.

I never said the Dominican Republic was a paradise, just it's doing SO MUCH BETTER.

  • @negkreyol21 Self reliant means "working hard to better your living standards" NOT "sitting around expecting charity handouts "

"Haiti's economy suffered a severe setback when a 7.1 magnitude earthquake damaged its capital city, Port-au-Prince, in January 2010. Already the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere with 80% of the population living under the poverty line and 54% in abject poverty"

Funny how the Dominican Republic does so much better than your poor-arsed country, isn't it?

  • @lineswine politics does not trump people.and if haitians where not already self reliant we wouldn't have any haitians at all right now, since they been living that way for the last 20 years. baby doc and his father are responsible for the state that the nation is in right now, lingering sentiments from that era still affects peoples lives and to deal with him could help the nation move on and heal,so that a new era could emerge

  • @phildrice Please go back on your meds, Belleview is currently full.

  • @negkreyol21

In your worldview politics trumps rebuilding the country & getting basic life-sustaining systems functioning again?

I hope Haitians like living in squalor, it seems they have little interest in improving their living standards.

Don't expect "the government" to make all the repairs from the earthquake, you have to show "self reliance".

    (google for more info)

Trolling? I'm just a dissenting, realistic voice to all the "Haiti is wonderful" comments.

Why are you so fond of dictators?
