iv really had enough at the end of the day cyclists can not go as fast as motorists so its no real shock that motorist are gona be annoyed when you get in they're way please you don't pay the road tax we do so stop acting as if you own the road

The computer in my car, for which I pay VED, states that its average speed is 26 mph: that includes out of town driving. My cycle commute into London is 15 miles and I cover that in < 60 mins. I drove once, it took 90 mins, so I say that cyclists are faster than motorists in urban areas. Like you, I don't pay road tax, it was abolished by Winston Churchill. Remember, that cyclist is a human being with just as much right to use that road as you.

And besides, this particular video is all about an aggressive motorist who cannot abide a pedestrian using a zebra crossing, which is also a right - but nothing to do with cycling!

@stvgllrd So you don't have a bike, you did not see what the video was about, you have not picked up that you no longer pay road tax but VED, or that there are lots of cars with low CO2 or pre-1972 car that pay no VED.

That's not just bad driving it's Bloody disgraceful. He should be banned, you should take this to the police and see what they say. He has every right to use the crossing and the car should have stopped until the pedestrian was clear.

Road tax (VED) is NOT a tax to 'USE the road. It's a tax on emissions!

Council taxes pay for the road repairs, and bicycles don't damage the road as mych as motor vehicles.

Effectively, cyclists (that dont drive) are subsidising your use of the road!

Bicycles are traffic, just like cars, so don't use behind use road tax to hide your bigotry of cyclists and share the road!
