NASA Destination Tomorrow Segment describing NASA's new Helios aircraft that is remotely piloted to fly at high altitudes. The segment explains how the Helios is a type of satellite to collect a variety of information in the atmosphere.

  • @slovakmath Well, yes actually. I grew up with a SR-71 on my wall, it was like a childhood hero to me. To see something that resembles a bendy plank of wood fly higher than it is kind of a slap in the face.

  • @rcflight13 ugh! yeah right ... isn't the continuing marching progress of science and all of its benefits SOOO terrible on your ego?

  • I don't know why but the fact these things fly higher than a Lockheed U-2 really annoys me, it's like watching a Toyota Prius overtake a Ferrari.

  • Absolutely amazing. Was looking for some footage of the Helios Crash, didn't find it. Can anybody help me? Cheers
