While these arguments are strictly true, it is simply scraping the bottom of the ideas barrel to maintain the possibility of Joseph Smith not being a bald-faced liar.

@leeuniverse You are correct, the actual BOA was not a scrap pile of fragments but a collection "perfectly preserved" done in "Red Ink". The anti's more often than not attack the wrong writings. It's funny really.

@fairldsorg Thank you for the response.

it's true we don't have all of the papyrus, only fragments. So what! We don't have any of the golden plates! the more logical conclusion is that JS had the book of breathings because those are common and hundreds exist in museums, but no books of abraham have ever been discovered. the more logical conclusion by a landslide is that there never were golden plates or a book of abraham PERIOD

@mike30701 You should actually educate yourself for a change instead of believing the obvious drive by anti-mormon claims. The found manuscript IS NOT the book Joseph translated the BOA from. It is simply a working copy of the common "facsimilees" with a common Book of Breathings attached. The actual BOA is elsewhere....

@athono You and your kind are the ones who should not bear false witness..... Cause you do it on EVERY ISSUE in relation to mormonism. And I should know as a former believer in nothing and a Christian and anti-mormon and anti-religionist. So, don't tell us who bears false witness, I actually know for a FACT who does it, and it's NOT the mormons, it's anti-mormons like you.

these people lie... I am not even a behavioral scientist and I can plainly see the behaviors and mannerisms that demonstrate misdirection and 'avoidance'... plus add in the all the historical evidence ... modern scientific inquiry ... these people are intentionally misleading people

Michael Rhodes forgot that you should not bare false witness.
This guy giving the speech is making no sense to any sort of argument or debate. He is basically talking off the 'cuff.'
He is flashing a few bits of random text on the projected screen and rambles with out getting to any factual conclusions.
Sorry, but he needs to get some real research to back up his speakings.

He is an Egyptologist and has done extensive research on this subject. Just because you may not understand it, does not make it fact.
