@Frickwit Really? Ask him if he remembers a starstruck young girl who spent her 14th birthday on his doorstep. One who got into so much trouble for not going home, he had to write to her mum and say sorry it was all his fault! He was my hero way back in 1975! my email treenagreany@yahoo.co.uk if he remembers!

WOW. Derek is one of my jazz lecturers at uni, brilliant! He mentioned being in a band in the 70's, but didn't mention how popular they were, this is fantastic!

I remember Flintlock in the 1970's when I was a little kid, because my big sister Tricia loved them. She put her tape machine next to the t.v to record them when they came on Top Of The Pops, ahhh happy memories of when all the family were together. : - )

Thanks to my TP boxset I thought I would checkout the over confident drummer's band. Don't remember them. But then I was only five at the time.
