It's Yosihimitsu Yamada with Donovan Waite as uke, and it's Aikido...in Yamada's dojo in NY.

Considering that the scroll on the wall says aikido that or aiki-ken (isn't that a sub-section of aikido?)should be a qualified guess.

Looks like akido to me.
As already mentioned, not kendo.
1. Not wearing the bogu
2. Kendo does not use grappling
3. Kendo targets consist of 'men', 'do' and 'kote'. (none of which were targeted in this video)
