  • @baltzellb, Thanks for checking out this silly video. The pistol in question was my first 1911 ever purchased with a rail....with that said, you can see some difficulty stuffing it back into a level I holster. All in all, the Kimber TLE/RL has been a very good operating pistol.

The Socom 16 has very little to no recoil. I have even heard of reports of negative recoil due to the muzzle design. As you can see, there is very little to no muzzle rise in my video. Happy Holidays

Thanks for your comments. I am using a "The Wilderness" Giles 3 point sling. It works very well for me for both transitioning and moving around. One thing I do not like about single point slings for me is that the big black broom stick I call a gun, dangles dangerously south donging my knees like a bell. For a small smg it would work well. ( I don't own any) One bad thing about the 3 point is that it is difficult if not impossible to transition to the week side while slung.

  • What kind of sling are you using? I have an M14 and I find that if I use a 1 point sling with it, it ends up hanging with the barrel reaching my knees even though I'm 6'. The sling you're using seems very effective as the rifle was hanging at a slant and to the side, so it doesn't hang as low. Also, would it be possible with a 2 or 3 point to transition to a pistol and move around while letting the rifle hang?

  • Lol 7.62 *boom boom boom*. Pulls out a 9mm *pit pit pit* :D

  • what pistol you pullin? looks like a sig, but I cant really tell. thats a nice rifle i'm thinking about geting one. hows the recoil on it?

  • Also let me add I don't own a real M14, I'm just an airsofter. I sure admire someone who can shoot the real thing the way you can, though.

  • You are absolutely right. I appreciate the critique.

  • hitting a target at 45 yards w/ a double action 45 is a little different than a 21 foot engagement w/ a rifle. If you honestly think I have to regrip EVERYTIME when in a CQB situation, you are sadly mistaken...anyways stay frosty and keep shooting. When it comes down to it, we are both Americans that love to shoot. Later.

  • Pride still intact. I have viewed your videos, and haven't seen any multi gun work. I am curious on what you propose as a good transition. I have seen your multiple grips for pistol work. I like how you have to regrip your pistol EVERYTIME after recoil. That is awesome.
