Nearly two decades have passed since Walt Disney Pictures originally released The Lion King, cementing the studio's animation renaissance in the early 1990s. This weekend, Simba and friends return to theaters in full stereoscopic 3D, giving old fans a chance to relive the adventure and new fans the opportunity to embrace it on the big screen.
ComingSoon.net caught up with the original talent behind the modern animated classic, including producer Don Hahn, animators Tony Bancroft (Pumba) and Mark Henn (Young Simba) and voice talents Moira Kelly (Adult Nala), Robert Guillaume (Rafiki) and Jim Cummings (Ed).
Check out the video interviews in the player below and catch The Lion King back in theaters for a limited time this weekend.
