  • I love Stephen Fry but I don't agree with here. For one, Excel spreadsheets are pretty useful, and also gaming is pretty enjoyable. Don't want no

    Mac for that. ;)

  • @rjohnd How has microsoft confined people to that? And I might have missed the point along with almost everyone else - but doesn't that mean Stephen should have expressed himself more clearly? Because it seems to me he's saying that as long as you're actually stuck with a pc for such a large portion of your time in many jobs, it should be an enjoyable, colourful and creative experience. Whereas my argument is that I'd rather get work done quicker, and the aestethics are secondary to that

  • @Lleanlleawrg It seems you and nearly everyone else has misunderstood what steven fry is saying, im sure he dosent give a shit about windows microsoft imac whatever bullshit everyone is arguing about, and taking offense to.. hes making the point that people shouldnt be stuck on a computer for a lifetime.. microsoft has confined people to that..

  • Apple and Microsoft, both are massive evil fucking corporations, which have hindered the progress of technology more than they have every helped it.

  • Stephen Fry !!! I couldnt agree more !!!!! XD

  • Anything other than Mac OS: operating systems that people do meaningful work with.

  • @Mistersamsam

Besides there not being just two options, you know you can hate em all.

  • I have Excel and Numbers on different machines, and frankly, can anyone poiunt out how Numbers is a more fun working environment? Where is it more beautiful? It's a spreadsheet programme, for God's sake! It does what it is supposed to do! It's not there to look beautiful, but the latest version of Excel is a vast improvement over the version of ten years ago. But still, I agree that I'd rather have a nicer working environment, but to choose a spreadsheet programme is not the best example.

  • @ooogaboooga172 Riiiiiiight..... *tumbleweed*

  • Nothing a youtube video filled with butthurt comments. To each their own operating system.
