@natalie6576 Albert Lee is superb, I agree, but it is untrue to say thatJB always plays and sounds the same.
I have been fortunate enough to see JB play live in concert three times, (twice with Emmylou Harris, back in the 70's) ) and his powers of improvisation and playing extempore are second to none.
The man is a bona fide genius on the Telecaster.
As is Albert Lee ...

If you watched & listened to Burton, in the late 50's with Ricky Nelson, when he was just a string-bean kid, this guy could play the shit out of that Telecaster even then. It wasn't Burton who was lucky to have played behind Ricky & Elvis ~ it was Ricky and Elvis who were lucky to have had James Burton playing lead gutiar for them. And THAT is a fact, Jack!
