Otterbox Defender for iPhone 4/4S + Update (Review)

Otterbox has reissued their line of cases to accommodate the new iPhone 4S. The cases are now compatible with both AT&T and Verizon iPhone 4 in addition to the iPhone 4S. It appears Otterbox has made a few changes to the case since IGM last reviewed. These changes beyond slight tweaks needed for the iPhone 4S controls.

The camera cutout is now much larger and a full oval vs sort of a keyhole cutout. Also the area around the earpiece is now a large cutout rather than individual sections for the front camera, sensors and ear piece.

Other than that, the case seems the same basic concept of multi-layer protection. The first layer is a hardshell surrounded by a rubber skin. The case also offers film protectection for the touch screen, camera, and Apple logo.

Lol Well I personally just love Otterbox, especially the defender series case for the Iphone 4s. Mine has a black outer silicone cover with a royal blue hard plastic inner layer. There are sooo many things to love about this case but my favorite attribute is the scent. I find the scent of the case to be very discrete and light which is just so delightful. Most other cases I've tried had a peculiar scent that I wasnt too fond of but Otterbox has done a great job eliminating this problem. LMAO!!

Otterbox cases have been going down in quality lately... Especially for the iPhone, it seems. I would rather have the Trident Kraken AMS case, but that's just me. Thanks for the great vid Mike!
