Study finds Paul Krugman is the most partisan economist. Krugman was the only economist to "significantly" change his stances for partisan reasons. Krugman has even gone so far as to contradict his own findings to bash Republican politicians. - Brett Barkley, Econ Journal Watch, May 2010
Perhaps, although I think most people who think about these problems seem to default to being the princess locked in the tower waiting to be rescued, instead of the knight in shinning armor who is going to actually do something about it. I can't help to think about poor blacks in the sixties marching to the capitol to make a difference. We're all responsible for how the future world is going to be, and we'd better be willing to take the blame if we leave a world of disaster to our children.

Okay, maybe I'm being overly cynical.
Paranoid even.
Seems the world will be a very different place in a few years.
