Its just that in America BJJ practitioners dont venture out of their art not that they would win or be champs but thats not the point, more to just improve their knowledge. In Brazil almost all BJJ have Judo training and in Europe most guys come from other grappling arts Judo being the biggest over there. I just think there should be more cross competition so America produce grappler's like Rustam and Andre.

  • @mikey4u1984 but how can they utilise their skills in a wrestling match? their techniques are not allowed. anyways regardless of any of that, this guy rustam is an absolute beast of a man. it goes to show that its not the art, but the guy who is doing it. sambo, judo and wrestling are top class sports and i would be happy to master either of them.

  • @soooooo89

I understand what you mean but maybe i did not explain well, All im saying is that BJJ guys never go out of their comfort zone in competition, always compete in BJJ tourneys and never try their skills else where. My guess was fear but who knows.

  • @mikey4u1984 it has nothing to do with being scared. its about being clever. your right when you say they would get destroyed in wrestling competitions, however that is like saying the football player would get destroyed against the boxer and the boxer would get destroyed if he tried to play football against the footballer. but in this comp, judo, sambo etc. are here to use their skills to be the best grappler., but the bjj guy wins once again.

  • @pcjudosambo

BJJ guys are always to scared to stray away from their comps, thats why. I only ever see Judo & Sambo guys in wrestling comps and BJJ comps but never the other way around but I dont blame them, they would get destroyed.

  • @COPE4N1 He has won ADCC trials, Grapplers Quest, Naga several times. He didn't compete at ADCC this time but he won ADCC trials before.

Second of all, yes a BJJ guy won this tournament but only due to "aggressiveness". Third, ALL grappling events, including ADCC, Grapplers Quest & NAGA are all BJJ related and share a BJJ point/scoring system, which differs from Sambo, Judo & Wrestling. How come you never see a BJJ player win a Judo, Sambo or Wrestling competition?

  • @scarred10 I wouldnt say unstoppable!

  • @pcjudosambo Then why hasnt he won the ADCC. All he has to do is compete to get there!

  • @pcjudosambo There are great players in all styles of martial arts! Certain styles make fights, plus the heart and will of the person fighting also makes a huge difference. Besides that who won the whole thing not a sambo or judo guy =)

  • Rustam is a beast, ossetian wrestling?
