Pokemon Yellow Mew Glitch

My first vid, I attempted the Mew Glitch on Pokemon Yellow version. Suprised to see I caught Mew with just one Great Ball, lol.

Walkthrough:

1. You must save inside or outside the door of the entrance way to the underground path, in front of the Gambler. (Make sure you have a stock of PokeBalls, a Pokemon that knows Fly, and a sleep inducing Pokemon (optional))

2. Walk through the door of the underground path, or walk one step south, and quickly press Start, opening the Start menu before the Gambler can get a chance to walk up towards you. Fly to Cerulean.

3. Once arriving, your Start menu is disabled. Do not worry, as after you go up the Cerulean Cape and fight the Slowpoke trainer, the Start menu will be no longer disabled. MAKE SURE THE SLOWPOKE TRAINER WALKS UP TO YOU. (otherwise, the game will freeze)

4. Fly to Lavender Town. There, you can save if you need, and then walk to the western route, heading towards Saffron. There, you will encounter Mew.

How the heck did someone find out about this? Ooh I know, let's use teleport/fly before this guy can battle me then battle this random guy and go on nugget bridge....oh hey it's Mew. TO THE PUBLIC THIS VIDEO GOES!!!!!!!!

I find it weird that back in Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow that when you use surf you turn into a seal..

And when you use fly, you turn into a pidgey. e_e
