I think its not global warming. Its just the sun being more active. The earth always cools down and warms up.

Btw adorable why the god comment again. Doesnt matter if there is a god or not. We live on this planet. And we will have to live here for a while longer i guess. So its best if we keep biodiversity up and dont polute. Not cuz of global warming. Just because the pollution gets into our foods etc...

Global warming is not caused by human activity BUT we are still responsible for polluting our environment. There is a vast difference between these two.

In reality the earth IS NOT warming up, in fact over the last 10 years it has cooled and it has been a lot hotter way way before the industrial revolution.

So ignore the money hungry doom merchants BUT clean up your act.

C02 is not a toxin and it doesn't create a green house effect, this has recently been proven scientifically. Research it !

If our elite rulers haven't been playing with weather modification technologies since the 60's and halting true innovation like cold fusion, and allowing and partaking in the dumping of toxic waste throughout the globe, our Earth would be fine. It is THEM not US!!!! The average Joe is not responsible for global warming or cooling or whatever they call it now....neither is CO2 a pollutant!!!!! Be very careful of this issue. Some times I also think about this problems. That's why I like green energy, cycling by bike, wholefood products (you call it BIO-Lebensmittel in german) ... and so on.

Just try start changing something while not buying products like food with poison on it, use the train instead of a car if possible and so on...

@AlicesPalette I seriously hope they don't make a decision.  Regardless of whether Anthropological GCC is occurring or not is irrelevant, even though it does seem that it is not occurring, politicians tend to make things worse. They can't seem to manage schools, welfare, foreign policy, taxation, waging war on drugs, crime, violence, producing currency or having any concept of what a budget is...the list goes on. Based on sheer conjecture, we need to keep politicians and gov't out of this.

Yes it is sad! Climates change, and have been changing for millions of years, but it's not our fault. Read Dr. Richard Lindzen's paper--it falsifies the manmade global warming hypothesis.

FYI:

CO2 isn't a pollutant.

CO, VOCs, NO and NO 2 are the pollutants that a car engine produces (all reduced by your catalytic convertor). Smaller makes a difference, but newer is more important if you wish to reduce pollution.

Very moving, thought provoking, scary and yes sad. God gave us this earth to take care of it, and we've destroyed everything he gave us.

Let's hope the leaders do more than just give face time. I am trying to reduce our family carbon footprint. We use the lower wattage light bulbs. Close doors of rooms not in use. Keep the heat turned down. We try not to use the air conditioning in the summer as well.

God help us.
