experimental animation "I dream in black and white" (part 1)

my first attempt at animation...an experimental short i did back in university...it is a series of abstract and surreal imagery set to two pieces of classical music of higly contrasting natures...it merges the use of traditional 2d animation with the stop motion technique along with the use of digitally manipulated black and white photography...there is no plot or fixed narrative to the short...it is just an absurd dream in black and white...again it was just an experiment...the video is in two parts...

yes Ligeti was a genius... In fact I first heard his music in Kubrick's 2001 and I was awe-stricken

for the first part the music used is "ramifications" by gyorgi ligeti...for the second, an excerpt from "pavane pour une infante defunte" by maurice ravel
