after a while it won't be soup lines, it will be people resorting to eating anything that is left, wild plants, wild animals, and insects...possible cannibalism...things will get that intense, like that of a 3rd world country, economically people will be devastated, and with food shortages well its, only the beginning of the homelessness and hard times to come- world war 3. :( is not a recession, its a economic depression worse than the first one.

I suggest they save the money to buy BMO Global Monthly Income Fund. Having a soup kitchen saves on having to rent out a suite with stoves, etc, and one can just find a friend's house to crash on the couch to bank one's entire paycheque to invest in these undervalued mutual funds.
