  • Me too

  • im from brisbane and was wandering if there were any schools here that teach this kind of karate?

  • 4/30 Duntroon Street, Brendale c/o 3142-0164

  • Wow... great drills. Do you know if there's any vid's that break it down nice and slow?

  • Absolutely - if you go to my website and look under books & dvds you'll find a whole range of two-person drills available in an educational format

  • KU uses the same kind of drills that WC use not to mention an extensive range of grappling and ground work. Traditionally speaking, WC does not employ such practies. You do the math.

  • i really really wish there was a koryu uchinadi school in oregon. i haven't been able to find anything like this anywhere. i've been training karate for the past 13 yrs and i've recently added judo to my training, but i really wish we would do drills like this. osu!

  • @mccarthysensei do u have a school in the new york new jersey area

  • @TheRogueMonk

It is good, but don't discount karate or kung fu. It really is about the instructor. There is no higher or lower.

  • good real karate

  • This totally looks like many styles of modern Japanese Jujutsu that I have studied over the years, without the throws and ground work of course. However, this drill seems quite unique and very interesting to me. I've actually been trying to develop better drilling systems myself and now, after watching this, I feel inspired to work harder on this aspect of my training. I think I might have to actually buy your two person drill video too.

  • OSU,sensei great drills.

  • These Koryu uchinadi guys are good at these drills, these 'flows'. My sensei calls them 'complexes'. We do similar consept but contents are different. But in one of the other videos where they hold pads it is like they have never really had much experience holding pads and hold them very bad and very dangerous.
