Jigsaw and his apprentice Amanda are dead.

It's not even the gore or scariness that makes me love these movies....it's the story and the ending twists, i've been shocked by all 3 so far.

If I'd have been the guy with my mouth sewn shut I think I'd have tried to use one of the weapons to sever the stitches and thus be able to speak to the other guy. But then again I don't imagine I'd be capable of much rational thought in a situation like that.
