@92spade I really couldn't care less if your opinion changes, because most people on YouTube are so ignorant that they'll never accept new information unless it's tattooed into their genetics.

The reason they 'publicly mock' as you put it, is because a) They find the beliefs illogical and irrational. and b) They, being Atheists, are entitled to return the potential YEARS of mocking they've put up with for their beliefs.

I was bullied for most of my school career for being Atheist.

I see what you're saying. I do have a belief structure, but that doesn't mean that I get my jollies from publicly mocking folks who disagree with it. I'm not even saying these jerks are wrong; just that they're jerks.

Nobody, anywhere, with any belief, is NOT smug in some fashion.

As a human being you have a set of beliefs, indoctrinated or passively accepted, that give you an automatic sense of self-satisfied smugness, no matter how miniscule, that your beliefs are correct.

Nobody anywhere believes that everything they know is entirely, and completely wrong, and that everybody else is 100% correct.

It's not that the commenter thought those Christians were idiots. It's that they did not have all of the information learned. Think about it like this, there are professors out there who spent their whole lives dedicated to learning all there is to learn about math. But there are also 3rd graders who know that math exists, they just don't know everything about it yet. Which do you guys think debates better in terms of math?

I do not value IQ tests, I only mentioned mine as I know others seem to. Lying on the internet is pointless. I think that a person's intelligence is too abstract to be simplified and generalised in one test.
