How to change the kill message for Halo using Hex Workshop - tutorial

Tutorial on how to change the kill messages within Halo using Hex Workshop.

This tutorial gives you a basic insight in changing displaying values. Basically you can change anything you like so I encourage you to play around with different values.
As for the offsets for the map bloodgulch:

00D10C50 - Kill messages
00D419F3 - ESRB notice

Note: If the offset do not match to what you see in the tutorial make sure that the last column is "1A"

how can i do this for Halo CE (Custom) ??

cause i can't find that hex address on it... :'(

i guess i'll have to look for the stuff manually :S

@pashaahsj My guess would be it would work the same, different addresses to find these particular phrases since it CE, so instead of trying using "Go To" with the given addresses. I suggest trying to use "Find" from the edit tab and do a search on "Double Kill" or "D.o.u.b.l.e. .K.i.l.l." Hope it helps.

Tutorial is a bit messy I might just redo it this summer.

did both cases for first character and tried kill Kill k.i.l.l spree Spree S.p.r.e.e s.p.r.e.e you get the idea.... none of them gave me results :'(
