@lildude878 im thinking of wearing full face for street riding too...one time i slide due to hard ice...good thing i was in an apartment compoun so i was really riding slow.... my cheek hit the asphat..even if i was wearing a helmet i would not help unless it was a full face...i hope i will find a full face in a yard sale or a thrift store soon..they are a bit pricey if bought new :D

Yeah my friend smashed his chin going off a 20 foot drop off and landing doing a nose manual. Full face helmet might help.

NO WAY will a full face motorcycle helmet ever catch on with bicyclists for public street use. Sure, we would all be safer wearing full body armor while riding our bicycle through the park but all enjoyment of the activity at that point would be negated.
Honestly, 99% of people will forgo all safety equipment if it requires them to look like a complete nerd in public...be realistic in these videos and don't get ridiculous like this guy just did - thumbs down!!!

planning to buy giro remedy cf for everyday street use. my friend had an accident in the streets and he face planted, resulting in a huge gash and >$4000 dental work.
