Perhaps you feel that way because you didn't live through that era of the 1980s. I was born in the 70's so I lived through it. Those were great times.

Perhaps when you grow up you'll appreciate more that music from those times. When I was a kid I didn't appreciate music from the 50's or 60's. But as I grew up I started to appreciate it even more.

The thing is that in the music from now a days there are no instrumental solos anymore; musicians don't do things that require real skill either.

In retrospect, this song is pretty embarrassing! People who say things like "80's music was great! Now, music sucks!" are dumb. Nothing is so black and white.

P.S. this wouldn't be the kind of song to even make that argument with. Come on people!
