yes he was gay and he did not hide it,if you look up his bio it states that and he did die of aids in 1987,but do it matter either way? a lot of singers,movie stars and so on are gay so what as long as they can do a good job for what they are paid for or like to do it is all that matters,so stop it with gay this gay that grow up people....................

Oh man, I wish it were the 80s again so that if i wanted to see this video, I would have to watch hours of MTV in the hopes that they might play it. So much better than these wretched modern times, with the ability to watch old 80s videos on the internet on a fleeting whim. I'd much rather watch this in 1985 in my parents' living room, so that they can come in and start talking about how the music I listen to is soulless crap, unlike their "real" music from the 60s.
