You don't have to watch tv to know what's going on. I've watched about 20 hrs of television over the last year (mostly debates), and I'm still up to date on current events. All new channels have online access to their stories, and there are quite a few other sources you can only find online. Everyone would be better off without television at this point and time. It's just a distraction from what is really going on in politics. Most people haven't even heard of H.R. 1955. It's sad, really....
