the background can't be greenscreen because in the end the Clampetts drive off screen (Or that last bit was real and the rest was greenscreen)

It's called a "sponsor I.D.", 'monster', and they originally appeared on the network version of the show {there's one with primary sponsor Kellogg's as well; "K-E-Double L- O-Double Good- Kellogg's, Best To You!"}.
