Neonate with transposition of the great Vessels (Main Arteries coming from the wrong chambers of the Heart) these babies are Cyanotic(Blue)and the majority will die within the first few months unless this corrective sugery is performed.
sitowardi, this is not impossible. There is a form of TGA called L-TGA, also known as "congenitally corrected transposition." It's complicated but basically the ventricles are switched. Blue blood goes to the lungs via the left ventricle and red blood goes to the body via the right ventricle. Not a problem until the RV tires out, which usually occurs sometime in adulthood. 333niknak, good luck to you.
33niknak, that is impossible. A baby cannot live with Transposition of Great Arteries unless treated and surgery is performed within the first few weeks of life.
wow this is intense
