@stroids Joe Pass is probably one of the greatest virtuoso players ever.I rank him as an undisputed master of "old school' jazz guitar.He ranks as one of my all time favourites along with Django,Pat Martino,Johhny Smith,,etc.. Each of these guys are innovators incredible at what they do,and each have their own particular approach.Joe's thing was simultaneous bass line,and chord melody,with monster chops coming out of his ass.But when it came to chords,i mean,just chordal shit,Barney was king.
