Back on 20/9/2009 the NSWRTM ran a tor to the Zig Zag Railway at Lithgow. At Zig Zag we were met by their own triple header, using C17 934, AC16 218A, and BB18&1/4 1072 with a mixed collection of 9 ex-Queensland Railways carriages. A photo run was made on the first trip where the railway runs parallel with the Bell's Line of Road. This was the scene of the first video clip, where we C17 (the "Brown Bomber)", AC16 ("The Yank"), and BB18&1/4 (the "Betty") strut their stuff. The second scene shows an extra run done along the Top Road from Top Points back to Clarence, passing "Blue Baby" DD17 1049 on the "regular service" at Clarence on our return. The video was made using a hand-held digital stills camera. Sit back, turn the speakers up, and enjoy the sound of steam locomotives alive & well!
