Constricting rings and sticky knobs are well known but this is claimed to be world's first real time video of use of sticky exopolysaccharide-a strong mycoglue produced by a nematophagous fungus to trap and immobolize soil nematodes. As a part of soil ecology practicals Students of M.Sc. part I , Dept. of Botany, Goa university supervised by Dr. Nandkumar Kamat successfully captured nematophagous soil fungi on baited slides and the power of biolglue -fungal exopolysaccharide was demonstrated as the trapped nematode could not extricate itself from the tiny fungus filament-its' fate is not known
