  • Nice job. Especially nice because it didn't have a bunch of music in the background to ruin the dialog and engine sounds like most others want to include.

  • It sure is nice to see those old 6's freight dogin in Anchorage. What a sight for sore eyes.

  • I would love to spend my last days working on one of those...

  • It's interesting to watch the younger people fly planes that were built before the pilots were born. I think they are re-living history. A special privilege, I'm sure.

  • GREAT no music thanks

  • N9056R apparently is stored but in one piece. Delivered to Canadian Pacific in July 1958! c/n 45498. Original registration CF-CZZ. Been up north its whole life. It could use a week on the beach :)

  • would you be looking for a great cook? lol

  • What was the deal with the formation flying with the E120?

  • good job guys.

  • @Mach2Drew Mostly sure the Evert's 6's came from the Transcon operation in lower 48, were white, gold and black with distinctive black nose, and they had big freight doors. Their lone C-118 came in to Hopkins Cleveland Ohio every day for a while, I got a ride in a Transcon DC-6B there in 1984. I never saw any Transcon DC-6 or C-118 with the 'United' style propeller spinners when they were down here - Best - CW

  • at 1:45 to 1:47, where a usair embraer was fly along side dc 6, that was delicious site to see.

  • WOW . .memories coming flooding back. One of my friends who works air freight in AK sent this LINK to me. I wonder if some of these old birds are from my Navy Reserve (VR-53) squadron in MEM? I have several hundred hours in the C-118 and the DC-6, DC-7 Type Rating on my ATP. Retired from the Reserves in '93. Also pretty neat seeing the FedEx jets in the background at ANC! Retired from FedEx in '03 . . . 32,000+ hours. That would be FUN flying!
