Andy Kaufman made a second appearance on the show "Fridays" after his "botched" first appearance which ended with Kaufman nearly coming to blows with cast and crew.
During this second appearance he appeared as a "born again" Christian. He opened the show with his trademark "Mighty Mouse" routine then, intros his new Christian singing fiancé and sing a lifting spiritual tune.

Unique performer for sure. I didnt' know he got a second chance at Fridays. But then ,, looking back at this.. It's pretty bad. I mean really. It's not funny at all. Even unique people can bomb.
Andy was certainly one of the first "post-modern" stand-up comedians to break out of the vaudeville shtick.
BTW, Frank Zappa and the Mothers were staging audience baffling stunts before Andy was was in the biz. Of course, everyone knew what was going on and the band would follow up with phenomenal music.
