What is Classical about Classical civilization? In one of the most audacious works of scholarship ever written, Martin Bernal challenges the whole basis of our thiking about this question. Classical civilization, he argues, has deep roots in Afroasiatic cultures. But these Afroasiatic influences have been systematically ignored, denied or suppressed since the eihjteenth century chiefty for racist reasons.
The popular view is that Greek civilization was the result of the conquest of a sophisticated but weak native population by vigorous Indo-European speakers or Aryans from the North. But the Classical Greeks, Bernal argues, knew nothing of this "Aryan model" They did not see their political institutions, science, philosophy, or religion as original, but rther as derived from the East in general, and Egypt in particular.
Be sure to read my new book: It's called "Augusta, Empress of Rome, Black Lesbian Civil Rights Crusader who the Church Covered up about.....oh.....30 years back"

@WesleySniperS1 Actually the ancient Arabs were also dark skinned peoples similar to the Ancient Egyptians and most of the ancient ethnic and even modern day groups of North, North east and North west Africa.
Most of the ancient cultures and civilizations were started by dark skinned African and Asiatic peoples. However modern day white supremacy has just forged history and tries to hide the truth. However there are still many honest people, and history speaks for itself if we are objective!

@TheRaceGuru and no that's not all there is to it now is there... since you see, the standards and proof of what the ancient greeks looked like is LITERALLY SET IN STONE! kinda hard to entertain the notion that Greeks where like modern day sicilians (who were mongrelized and bastardized by the 16th century by marauding north africans) when you have the historical record, gene testing and these innumerable statues with obvious Nordic traits.

@TheRaceGuru it absolutely is a nordic european trait... its obvious you have next to no knowledge on genetics... the MC1R/81 gene responsible for blondism in Europeans originates from mutations from scandinavian nordic european populations 12 000 years ago!
Its not a uniform trait... and not all nordic europeans are blond! Of course Beethoven, Hitler and Shakespear were nordic european... they had obviously other clear traits identifiying them as such

@TheRaceGuru nordic europoid traits were scattered all over europe before Greece ever rose to relevence, true the populations were GEOGRAPHICALLY central europeans... but they showed genetic drifting from northern european populations.. all of this is pretty standard issue common knowledge.,

@TheRaceGuru really? because nmone of the ones featured here were...
The statues are UNDENIABLY nordic european (meaning alpinoid, dinaric, slavic etc) comparable to the stock found in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria... Similar also to that found in the Roman Empire... Of the 18 Emperors from Augustus to Commodus: 9 had blond or red hair; 5 had grey or white hair; 3 had no recorded hair colour, and just 1 (Hadrian), was referred to as dark-haired for instance.

nordic european features ... you moron! Look at the straight noses, straight hair and other facial features, clearly those of White Nordic Eruopeans. (not that they were made in Nordic European lands! ) grow a brain

This all goes without saying. The point I would like to make is that the Greeks preserved a lot of Egyptian science that would have otherwise been lost. It is obvious that whoever designed the Dendera Zodiac understood the processions of the equinoxes, though, so no Greek can take credit for that one. Also, I believe it was the Babylonians who divided the sky by 6. They can't take that one either. Who taught the Greeks agriculture, geometry, and where did the pantheon of gods come from? EGYPT!
