NONE of these kids should be deported. They are most likely Dream-Act eligible and covered under the Morton Memos. I admire their bravery, and they acted very peacefully and didn't resist arrest. Peaceful protest is very American.

They've come here illegally by the millions and have dropped their babies off on our doorsteps, demanding that we set aside our laws and give them special treatment. They seek to guilt trip us into paying for the mistakes of their parents, who knowingly broke our laws with impunity and put their own children at risk. The only way to solve this problem once and for all is to send them all back, along with their parents and without mercy.

Guts? I don't think so. Guts would be going back to Mexico and working to repair the poverty stricken, corrupt, undereducated, country that it is. Standing up in a US city council meeting and interrupting civil process is not courage, it's discourtesy and continued contempt for US laws.
