HOW TO: Re-Shape a Used Skateboard into Custom Cut DIY Cruiser

Get more life out of that old deck and turn into a new custom shape or cruiser!

For this demo I used a large SnakeSession deck (Hot Rod model) and turned it into a smaller ZigZagger shaped 'punk point'. You can do this with any old skateboard deck and make any shape you want. But you can also just change the nose or tail into a different shape. Get creative!

ive cut the board to a cruiser shaped but im still scared that the wheelbite is still the same like my old one.,..where can i get classic trucks online?

@kiwiboy8492. You prob just need some riser pads to put between your deck and trucks. That will raise the board up. Ask you local skate shop or look online. With those you may need longer hardware. You can also try smaller wheels. I try to use local skate shops but you can check oldschoolskate or skatesonhaight.

so you get a stronger better zip zinger/zagger, ׳cause my original zip zinger deck quality is so poor, i dunno what mark/krooked were thinking, the shapes are awesome but the board build is so weak, even the colors wear off when you wipe it clean, and the wheels, well, just dont get 'em! so, ur selling zingers?

@b0redavid. My friend has skated two of the zip zingers pretty hard with no probs and loved them. Sorry you got a bad one. Never tried the wheels. Sorry we're not selling boards at this time.

@bizarresounds. The point is to take a old board that has a wore-out tail and other damage and cut it down to a fun sized cruizer. Not everyone has extra money to buy a new deck everytime.
