http://oregonimages.com Located east of Salem in the Marion County Cascade foothills, lies a waterfall lover's paradise. In Silver Creek Falls State Park—Oregon's largest and most visited state park—is a 7-mile hiking trail that takes you past 10 waterfalls cascading over basalt cliffs, many over 100' tall, the tallest 177' South Falls. The less resistant rock between the basalt layers has created spectacular amphitheaters behind some of the falls, allowing you to walk behind four of them. Two drainages to the north of Silver Falls share similar geology, creating a trio of waterfalls on Butte Creek, and the 101' Abiqua Falls, with its unique columnar basalt cliffs, creates, what may be, the largest punchbowl waterfall in the state. This 28-minute video tour, shot in Spring ι and Fall ∞, with only the sounds of the water and instrumental music, is designed to be enjoyed over and over again, feeding the soul as well as your eyes and ears, taking you to places that you might not otherwise visit, sometimes to places right in your own part of Oregon.

Thank you sir, finally had some time to look at several films on your channel. On the more recent ones especially I really like your use of compositing stills with slow mo footage. Hadn't considered doing that, but will now. I have 3 other films shot but not edited yet: Waterfalls of the Upper Willamette River (including Salt Cr. and Diamond), Waterfalls of the Row River outside of Cottage Grove, and Waterfalls of the Central Coast Range.
