  • In Java to create an array as shown in the slide "Initializing an Array"

    is a liitle different than what is shown:

    String names[] = new String[4]();

    should be

    String names[] = new String[4];

    (The parenthesis after specifying the size 4 are not correct and would lead to a compile time error).

    Guess that is just a typo?

    Presentation is very good.

  • That's right, thanks!

  • "As the array grows in size, each insert becomes more and more difficult"... Inserting data in the 0th position vs inserting it at the 1000th position should not be more difficult. You probably mean it's more resource intensive since it has to allocate or find more space for that array. Great video btw. thanks!

  • you basically started off by saying linked lists suck and then talked way too long about array. sorry just my opinion.

  • Good Video, shows the basics of arrays quite well. Thank you.
