WFLA Live at Five Close (Power News V.3)

This is a resynched close to one of my favorite closing pieces of news music, 615's Power News Version 3. WFLA in Tampa used this as their close for Live at Five from 1988-1992. The close was always majestic views of Tampa Bay area landmarks with the last view being the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting. WBIR closed its newscasts with Power News V.3 in the early 1990s. Do you have a V.2 close that you could post?

@DerrickLee2006 I may try to do one with V.2. WFLA used V.2 for all of the other newscasts from 1988-1992. If I can find some shots of Tampa at night then I'll make a close out of that version.

My personal favorite from the era was the open they used in the very late 80's and very early 90's. The one where they show a flyby (like this), then a zoom in to an anchor shot, then another flyby, and another zoom in.

Very nice! All the local affiliates used to do long closes like this. That was one of the things I loved about local news.
