  • @amberwawas "accelerator" on its own has 2 more syllables than "gas pedal" - gas pedal is easier to say!

  • 0 MPG. MPC? (Miles per charge) 120-ish.

  • That's one very shallow comment...

  • you are wrong. i'm not increasing danger to no one. We all need to think about our safety. No i'm not selfish at all.

  • great. as you gain safety you increase the danger of driving for all the rest of us. i think that's kinda selfish.

  • almost nobody will charge during the day. it's very easy to charge at night. and with nightly charging, the grid could handle 84% of ALL our cars without one additional plant. -2007 DOE study

  • yes our hummers does get 20 to 24 MPG. i have PROOF. if you speed you will not get 20 to 24. we don't speed that is why we can get 20 to 24 MPG again i have proof. we have 1 volvo and yes it is a real good car and yes SAB are made very good, they are safe but not safer than a hummer..i am not hear to fuss with you i'm not a girl and i don't drink but tonnage does equals safety and i am a real man.

  • How many MPG does this thing get?

  • No Hummer can get 24 MPG. If you ONLY drive them on hwys you can get 18. It's more like 12-15 MPG in real life.

Besides, real men drive Harleys and only girls and drunks think tonnage equals safety or that safety is on top of the list when considering a vehicle purchase ;)

    Check out a 2009 Volvo S40 4-DR. w/SAB a small car that's safer than a Hummer.

Hummer is not even on the 2009 IIHS list ;)

  • LOL! i did not say anybody wanted to take my hummers away and yes i WILL keep them. we get 20 to 24 miles a gallon with them. no they ARE NOT DUMBASS GAS GUZZLERS. we pay our bills every month and if gas goes up to $10.00 a gallon we will just pay it NO PROBLEM AT ALL. WE LOOK AT IT THIS WAY, OUR LIVES MEAN ALOT MORE THAN SAVING GAS BY DRIVING A COKE CAN WITH WHEELS.
