555+4017 "Knight Rider" LED chaser

This circuit uses the 4017 decade counter and a 555 square wave generator for the clock.
Common questions I've been getting about this video.
Q) How did you get it to go back and forth?
A) By means of the 4148 Diodes. These allow 2 outputs to be connected to one led, thus giving the back and forth movement.
Q) cAN i hAz scheMatiC?
A) Please, please, speak in regular "proper" English. Yes Yes everyone makes spelling mistakes.
And I do not have an actual schematic of this circuit. I do really need to start making some though. I'm sure if everyone bugs me enough I will make some.
I believe Jose Pino has a schematic on his website of this circuit.

Ha thanks man. I used 4148 diodes. Just mess around with them. Their are used so the electronics can only flow one way. so you can have 2 ouputs going to the same led
