@fitfortwotv Okay. Well I'm glad you asked. It turned out well. However, I had the idea to cut the thing into several pieces, so each person got their own piece of the squash. This got a little messy, but it worked. It tasted good. I still have another paddy pan. I'll probably stuff this one too.
Also, I've been baking all of the seeds from all my squash this year. The family has been loving it. Soak them in saltwater overnight, and bake: 350F for 20 minutes. Very simple and yummy.

@Domingo0022IWAY Thanks! It was very tasty. I'm fortunate to have a great partner who loves too cook :)
The last time I tried a new food, it was butternut squash just a few days ago. The time before that, it was kiwi berries (kiwi berries are amazing, I can't even tell you). I got some patty pan squash at my local farmers' market today and just happened to have cooked up some dry beans overnight, and throughout the day today, so my plan is to make this dish for friends tonight. I'll be cooking for about seven people. How fun, right?

@Gerpinator Cooking for 7 people can be a lot of work, but fun at the same time. Let us know how it went!

Did you get that patty squash from Chernobyl? That thing is ginormous! Nice video by the way.

@DehydratedManatee haha, yes it is a large one. It's interesting how sometimes organic produce can be bigger (in this case), and smaller in other cases (like with apples).
