@blibbax not all true, balance, weight, tire sizes, and wheel base have allot to do with it too. ive seen a video with a samurai going up the twister 3 much easier than this. also a v8 is like an anti traction device, a 4 cyl. would have been a better choice in that buggy but then it wouldn't be "cool".

@gssg9 It's torque that's spinning the wheels - wheels only spin when you have more torque than traction. Unimogs do very well generating a lot of torque with crawler gears, but I don't think a mog would have done any better here. At the end of the day this is all about grip, and as both unimogs and this single-seater have locked diffs and large, low pressure tyres, there isn't much of a difference. In the end this guy gets around that by using a shitload of momentum.

@blibbax He has loads of power and it gets the job done. But you cant beat torque for the more tricky and slower parts of these events. All that bouncing and wheel spinning is a waist of energy. Go look at some Unimog videos and you will learn about torque. Still one funky beast of a machine But Tim Camerons newest buggy HELL RAISER is far meaner looking.
