  • I always wondered if blowing up the town was really necessary. It doesn't look like they use the set for anything else, it's all covered with "mustard weed" now. I wonder what that was all about. (I remember the reason on the show, I mean in real life.)

  • yeah, it seems sad.

  • where are the bloopers?

  • they're in part 7 :)

  • But they'll always be the memories within the hearts of the fans of Bonanza, Little House and Highway to Heaven.

  • And a grand tourist sight it would be. I'd sure make an attempt to get there!

  • the scene where tehy blew up the town was bittersweet.it made me smile and made me cry too.

  • @AutymnRosa Mike didn't want dirty pictures done in his town of Walnut Grove!

  • I will always remember our heroes for they gave us what we wanted friends, who are heroes

  • I Was a Grown Up Werewolf

  • Fantastic film I enjoyed watching all these shows are classic.

We need more TV shows like this Today.

  • I think they should have kept the town, people from all over the world would have loved to comet to visit Walnut Grove!!!

  • @AutymnRosa the reason, I have heard, was that Mike didn't want any 'dirty' shows to be aired on the set of little house; he wanted it preserved in people's heart's and memories as only little house.

It was also very poignant; it was a physical sign of one thing ending. (and a new beginning)

  • Sgt Carter from Hogan would have been proud at the demise of Walnut Grove.

  • I always liked watching Highway to Heaven.i was really sad when Victor French died and then Michael Landon.
