  • @Shanksftw : I was talking about the general themes of metal. I oversimplified for the sake of time. I listen to metal because 90% of the time it embodies a spirit of anger, dissent. Metal is about malcontent.

  • i was at metal mania in milwaukee in 1994 right before this album was released and slayer was a headliner and they played this for us..213 .its jeffrey dahmers apt number and the show was rite down the road from his old apt....tom asked us all if we knew what it was then he told us then they busted into the song ...slayer history...they saved it for that show ..to play it for us first..so dont believe any other shit it was from toms mouth....

  • Very dark track, a classic....

  • @Nagneto Metal is simple? You're kidding right? Have you heard Megadeth or Death's songs for the lyrics not the riffs? Mustaine and Schuldiner had some deep lyrics...

  • @chemtrailstacoma2011 : Aye. The elitism (and anti-intellectualism) is annoying as fuck. Metal is simple, it's about RAGE!

  • @Carnificinerius Hmmm, I'm not convinced. How about you give some reasons next time you make a bold statement like that?

  • @Nagneto Right, and how OG is a person when they are the only ones who will vouch for their supposed level of OG? ZZzzzz...

  • @waylonbloodskull666 "anything after south of heaven sucks". Shit, did they even listen to the albums? That is just fucking retarded honestly. Obviously Slayer just keeps getting harder and more pissed off and BETTER with every new release!

  • @Carnificinerius This album is just as good as their first 5 albums including the Haunting The Chapel EP. Even though those may be classics, this album is just as good.
