ENG looks like it was on film - 1979? My guess is that it was. I was an intern at KING in 1983 or so, and I think they were on 3/4" by then. Man, this feels like a million years ago.

"Seven...around two...wrapped by one!" I remember a fricking TIRE COMMERCIAL TAGLINE from when I was in grade school, but I can't recall the names of half the kids I went to school with. "How Come?" THAT, Al Wallace!

Those huge console TVs in the Colortyme commercial are SO UGLY! About as ugly as the '70s fashions on the commercial's announcer. The '70s are so unforgiving, but it did give Fox "That '70s Show" and its occasional funnies.
