  • Goldberg turning nevered worked, just like Sting!

  • They should have made the fact that nash cheated to beat goldberg at starrcade 1998 and end his undefeated streak as the reason for goldberg's heel turn becuase then it would have made this a little more interesting. but they didn't seem to do that.

  • @ecwecwecw1 I looked at the Starrcade finish in 1997 and sting's shoulder looked like it was up a little and the count was fair to me still, they shoulda did something like Sting foot was on the ropes.

1998 was my favorite year Booker T was suppose to be with DDP/Goldberg to defend WCW and what bugs me is every time almost Booker got in the ring with a huge star, he ethier loses or wins via count out or dq.

  • @BrianLG100 Well in 96 and 97 I don't think WCW did anything wrong (Beside that screwed up Starrcade finish between Hogan and Sting).

1998 was really the magic year were WCW should of started pushing these new stars. They should of pushed the scott Steiners and the Booker T's because by the time they got the belt in 2000 It didn't really count like DDP, The Giant and Goldberg counted.

  • @ecwecwecw1 Yeah the right people were being pushed, all they needed was the things that kept us watching in 96-98(the mexican stars) and all, and the April PPV woulda marked the return of Goldberg and Sting.

  • @BrianLG100 Exactly because around the very end It did look like they were getting there shit together

I think the problem with WCW tough aroud late 99 and year 2000 instead of trying something to comit to something new they wanted to try and recreate. They keepet wanting to recreate that Hogan turn and that just isn't going to happen. I think WWE though Austin would do the same thing and It didn't. They want to make Cena's heel turn that inpactful which it won't in the modern world

  • @ecwecwecw1 That to, but I heard he wanted to, he was becoming stale, but your right, and if WCW was still around with that going on, Rock started Hollywood, then WCW woulda made a comeback on them.

  • @BrianLG100 aaand Austins 2001

  • I love how as WCW got shittier and shittier, Schiavone's overcompensation got heavier and heavier. I wonder how many times Tony said the words "This is the most important night in our sport's history." from '99 to '01.

  • i was shocked when he turned heel! i was like wtf when i seen this! lol

  • if that was john cena turning heel he would join the nexus and the person who gets screwed is randy orton, why can't that happen.

  • ilregardless Goldberg is still my hero.
