How I Taught Myself Backflips Off a Ledge in an Hour

Not exactly a tutorial, but this is my progression of teaching myself a backflip in an hour. I know my technique isn't perfect by the end, and I need to jump up more, but I'll be working on that in an upcoming video. I just want to show that you don't need a spotter or a gym or fancy equipment to learn backflips, just youtube tutorials, a bit of snow, and some common sense.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not saying go out and try to teach yourself a backflip. I have been doing parkour for 2 years, know front flips and side flips, and knew the right progressions and warm ups. And still, I hurt myself. However, if you think you're ready, what's stopping you? I'm just not responsible if you hurt yourself

This video is honestly extremely amazing. You've done things and approached things in ways I would have never thought of. The only thing missing for me is all that snow, but honestly fantastic video. Backflip in an hour, epic.

Thanks man, I improved on these a lot as the snow melted and got them real good and clean flat ground, I actually made a progression video but it didn't save right so I sort of abandoned it haha, but I'll be coming out with a spring parkour video at some point!

Because I kept landing with my hands in the snow which would numb my hands, and I was trying to restore circulation to my hands.
