Imagine all the people...going to at least one fucking you tube video and not reading a fucking argument.

this sends chills up my spine, hearing the lead singer from my favorite band singing a song from the legendary John lennon
-
ps. how brave is this guy to jump up in front of who knows how many people and sing solo with a guitar?!
-
I have been a big live fan for a long long time and I can tell you imagine is one of Ed's all time favourite songs. He has sung it many many times at concerts and I genuinely believe that he believes in the song. Ed is all about world peace. If he sung the song at a rally it is because he believes it is helping the cause.

You're right on there. Glad we agree.

Glad to see we can cease bickering over pointless shit. Youtube (and the world, for that matter) is FAR too overrun with that.
Ron Paul should be president right now. Such a shame that the Republican party has become the Neo-Conservative party. "Republican" used to mean someone in favor of small government and conservative spending. Now it means war-hungry evangelical Christians who feed on power. Ron Paul is the REAL Republican we need.
Such a shame.

Yeah, I was for Ron Paul too until he got shut out. All the other parties treated him like crap, even his own. I never thought I would have considered voting for a Republican but, he seemed to be genuine and had some really good ideas... not the typical Republican. But ,now the only choice is Obama. I do think he'll make a good president.
-
I see your point. And I'm voting Democrat... this time. If it weren't such a ridiculous crisis situation I'd probably be going Libertarian or some sort of more rational platform. I'd be voting Republican if Ron Paul won the nomination.
Ed seems like a great guy, I know. He has to realize that the two-party system is a failed, biased system though.
Again, my biggest gripe is the added verse to "Imagine." I like art to be left as art, not some bandwagon for people to jump on.

John would have stood with the party that was against the war AND had the best chance of winning the election. It's called activism and if he would have had the chance to help end the war he would have taken it. As for the song Ed had only good intentions and I think you're being a bit irrational. John and Ed are cut from the same cloth whether you like it or not. Perhaps you should do what you can, yourself to help get the Republicans out of the Whitehouse. Action needed, John's watching.

You missed my point. If he were to rally for another party that has no chance of winning then he would be wasteing his time and taking away votes for the Democrats who are MORE LIKELY to end the war that he is against and put forth a more humanitarian agenda. Seriously, I'm a member and I read his blogs on the I-I spiritual center his motives are not about publicity, he is far removed from that kind of ego trip. If you hate Reps more than Dems then please vote for Obama. We need your vote
whatis the name of this song?
