  • Thanks for the video review. I have this figure also, and yes, the hands are a little "loose" and they do tend to drop off >.< And many thanks on showing how to remove the battery cover on the stand and telling us how it works. Could never have figured that out :) Overall I am quite happy with the figure - it's quite a unique design :)

  • @dscans1 No problem. I am always happy to provide a good review to help. I myself spent a few minutes figuring out how to open the battery cover. The instructions weren't that clear to me. Probably cos I can't read Japanese. Agree that it is still nonetheless a great figure. =)

  • Finally someone has a video review of it. Hopefully this will convince me to go for this version over the Figma.

  • @SuperTiso Hope this review helps you. =)

  • I am glad you did this review, as I am sure Bandai will be looking for the feedback. I think we are victims of slow sales and rising yen. It is harder and harder to sell very expensive chogokin figures with the exchange rate as it stands. I think Bandai is cutting costs in the metal content in order to make the product less expensive and possibly stimulate sales. Heck, they got me to order one. Your review was excellent and fair. I like the original much better than this one too!

  • @elliotbaltazar Hi buddy! Thanks for viewing. I do agree it's a little shortchange for the consumers with so little diecast content and honestly, it does take away the excitment I had, especially since I was so impressed with the original Drossel.

  • @chogokin666 You are very right about the inconsistencies in some product lines. I have most of the SRC figures and thought they all seemed to follow a very similar formula. That is: mostly diecast legs, some metal joint structures, and mostly plastic torso and arms. I think some of them are a bit heavier than others strictly because of design. The Soul of Chogokin line however, seems to have reduced the metal with every release in 2011. Enough for me to stop collecting that line completely.

  • @OptimusPrimeSG Yeah it did. Just convinced me I was right to stick with the Chogokin version instead of the Figma. I want to get both, but I know the higher quality is with this one despite seeing her hands fall off constantly. Maybe it's just that particular toy itself and not the entire line. The Figma only has in my opinion the accessories over this one.

  • @elliotbaltazar you make a good point, but then why are items in tge same line and pricepoint so inconsistent with gokin content. For example Dekaranger is a satisfying toy in every way, weight, playability etc. Where others in the line are nice but have no business bearing The Chogokin Kanji. I mean D arts Metabee had more diecast than some SRC's.
