@MrStryperfan they generally want someone with experience on a hotshot crew just because wild lands fire fighting is tough as hell to begin with, also try to get wildlands medic/emt and that will help

@sergeantdiessel - Type 2 - Emergency Firefighters
Type 2 IA - Often times T2IA crews are feeders for Hotshot crews. Usually they are Initial Attack organized crews, alot like Hotshots, held to the same standards, only they lack the certs. Hop on a T2IA crew and they will get you certs if you earn them, HecM, FAL A-C, Squad Boss, Crew Boss, IC5, e.t.c
There are alot of certs that come with being a Hotshot, and it takes some time to get them usually.
